Cargolux seals partnership with Sonoco Thermosafe

Cargolux is pleased to announce that a partnership agreement has been signed with Sonoco ThermoSafe, a leading global provider of temperature assurance packaging, for the leasing of the PharmaPort 360 temperature controlled bulk shipping container.

Cargolux is determined to offer its customers the best service possible and the latest available technology in transport solutions, especially when it comes to sensitive and time-critical shipments such as pharmaceuticals. The promise is upheld with leasing agreement such as this one that include numerous enhanced features. The state-of-the-art PharmaPort 360 containers are smart active containers, distinguished as the only active temperature controlled containers in the industry that include a fully integrated, FAA-approved telemetry system. They enable the provision of real-time, cloud-based data on payload and ambient temperature and key mechanical components, precisely synchronized with GPS location.

The use of these new containers provides a significant advantage for Cargolux’s pharmaceutical handling.
